If you were in any of these areas between the stated times and have any dash cam footage or CCTV of those type of vehicles being driven, or any other suspicious vehicles in the area, please ring 101, speak to the Nottinghamshire Police force control room and pass any information you may have. (Please do not post any information on this post, as this can cause evidential issues in the future)

Attached is a link to vehicle security information, which gives advice around key security

In addition, for the immediate future if you own a BMW or any other keyless entry vehicle we would suggest trying to park the vehicle in a position where it is more difficult to steal. For example if you own more than one vehicle park the second vehicle close to the keyless entry vehicle or in front of it if parked on a drive.

Officers will be paying attention to these areas overnight and also vehicles seen being driven in the early hours of the morning.
