Residents of Rushcliffe, or other areas, may want to look at joining, or starting a neighbourhood watch (NHW) scheme in their area.

There are already NHW schemes in many villages and areas of Rushcliffe, you can find out if there is one in your area by visiting the Notts watch website

There are many benefits to joining your local scheme, NHW coordinators are able to pass on crime prevention advice to local residents, keep an eye on vulnerable people; many have regular contact with police and are able to pass accurate information about crime concerns. They are fee to join.

Some NHW schemes promote their scheme in local village news letters or on village social media pages, and can be contacted locally.
