Sherwood Methodist Church Engagement

Alert message sent 07/12/2019 10:45:00

Information sent on behalf of Notts Police

This week PCSO Duffus attended Sherwood Methodist Church to see the Rainbow Unit as part of their road safety week.

PCSO Duffus said "The children in their high-visibility waist coats were full of joy. They engaged well, answered questions along with asking lots of questions. All 15, yes 15, went in and out the police car (like a production line) with their faces lit up like a Christmas tree. I even got some ‘thank you’ cards at the end which was so nice of them."

We love community engagement and visiting local groups to carry out talks. Helping to show young people that the police are not scary and can help them is the key part of our face to face engagements.

If you would like a member of the beat team to visit you or a group in the area you can contact us on our team email address; citynorthsherwoodnpt@Nottinghamshire.pnn.police.uk
