ARREST: Good police teamwork leads to arrest after stolen motorbike report

A man has been arrested on suspicion of theft and burglary thanks to good police teamwork.

Nottinghamshire Police responded to a report of a motorbike stolen from an address in Bulwell just before 2.30am today (Thursday 30 January 2020).

The force's Operational Support Unit investigated the incident and enquiries established that a tracker on the bike had been activated.

Officers liaised with the tracking company and the bike was tracked to an address on Wayford Walk in Bulwell.

Police forced entry to the property where they found the stolen bike and arrested a 39-year-old man on suspicion of theft. He was also arrested on suspicion of burglary in relation to previously reported incidents in Derbyshire and Watnall.
