MANSFIELD AND DISTRICT – 7 DAYS TO Saturday Sent on behalf of Mansfield District Commander Nick Butler.

 Crimes reported over the past 7 days, 12:00 3rd March 2020- 12:00 Noon 10th March 2020.

 Cumberlands:
 
Theft From Motor Vehicle:
 
There was an attempt to steal a motorbike from Somersall Street, on Tuesday the 3rd of March at approximately 17.30 hours. 3 males were seen making attempts to drag the motor bike off the drive way to the property. Males were chased off all aged around 16 years old.


Eakring:
 
 Burglary Dwelling;
 On Thursday the 5th of March a property on Newgate Lane was entered at 18.00 hours and threats to the occupant were made. Items were stolen from within the address.



 
Grange Farm
 
Burglary Dwelling:
 
On Langford Road between the hours of 16.00 hours and 17.00 hours on Friday the 6th March a property was broken into by using the door at the rear of the address. Items were stolen from within.




Ladybrook
 
Burglary Dwelling:
 
At 05.15 hours on Saturday the 7th March there was an attempt break to the rear patio doors to a property on Byron Street. A male was disturbed and he fled the address towards the Main Road.
 
 

Theft Other:
 
On Friday the 6th March items were reported stolen from a community building on Ladybrook Lane on two separate occasions during the day.
 
Sunday the 8th March a taxi driver called to report that a fare had made off without making a payment of £15.07 at 03.37 hours. Three people were collected from the taxi rank  in the town centre and dropped off at Noel Street.  
 
 
 
 

Leeming Lane
 
Burglary Dwelling:
 
On Leeming Lane North Friday the 6th March a burglary happened between the hours of 16.00 hours and 20.52 hours. A rear window was opened to gain entry to the property.
 

 Theft from Motor Vehicle:
 
A vehicle was broken onto on between the 21.30 hours on the Friday the 6th March and 11.30 hours on Saturday the 7th March whilst parked on Portland Street. Some items were taken from inside including an Amazon Fire tablet. Other belongs were thrown and left behind.
 
 Oak Tree


 Theft of  Motor Vehicle:
 
On Sunday the 8th March a Jet Moped in black and white  was stolen from the rear garden of a property on Mappleton Drive. This happened at approximately 18.30 hours.
 
 
Priory:
 
Burglary Dwelling:
 
A property was broken onto on Leeming Lane South. This happened between Thursday the 5th March day and Saturday 8th March.
 
Theft From Motor vehicle:
 
A vehicle was left in a car park on Woodhouse road overnight of Friday the 6th March. The passenger window was smashed.
 
A vehicle was broken into on Church Hill Avenue between 18.15 hours on Monday the 9th March and 06.25 hours on Tuesday the 10th March.
 
Ravensdale:
 
Burglary Other than Dwelling:
 
Commercial site was broken into on Bath Lane. Workshop was broken into by forcing the locks. This happened between 15.00 hours on Friday the 6th March and  Monday the 9th March.
 
Theft of Motor vehicle:
 
On Tuesday the 3rd March there was an attempt theft of a motorbike from Ravensdale Road this happened at 20.48 hours.
 
Theft Other:
 
A community building on Hickling Court has been broken into on three occasion’s latest dates being Monday the 2nd March.
 
 
Robin Hood:
 
Theft Other:
 
A phone has been stolen from a property on Parkers Lane. This happened on the Saturday the 7th March at 01.30 hours. The theft was reported to the police on Tuesday the 9th March.
 
 
 
Sherwood:
 
Burglary  Other Than Dwelling:
 
A mobility scooter was stolen from a garage on Mattersey Court between 16th January and 20th January. This was reported to the police on Friday the 6th March.
 
Theft of Motor vehicle:
 
A vehicle was stolen from Main bright Walk between the hours of 07.45 and 14.00 hours on Friday the 6th March. It was parked outside the property when it was taken.
 
 
Town Centre :
 
Theft of a purse was stolen whilst they were shopping in the Town Centre between the hours of 13.30 hours and 13.45 hours on Thursday the 5th March.
 
Theft of a purse was stolen on Saturday the 7th March from the Town between the hours of 14.00 hours and 14.30 hours.
 
Warsop/ Birklands
 
Theft Other;
 
A IFor Williams 12 foot trailer has been stolen from Carr Lane. It is described as a twin axel with drop sides with wire mesh caging all over. It is believed to have been stolen at approximately 13.00 hours on Wednesday the 4th March.
 
A drum of diesel has been stolen from the rear garden of a property on Fell Street. This happened between the hours of 19.00hours on Friday the 6th March and 06.00 hours on Saturday the 7th March.  Plant machinery had also been on and items set on fire.
 
A sign post was stolen from the railway. A male was seen to drive away with the metal sign in his car. Happened at 14.35 hours on Sunday the 8th March.
